About Custom Care
Custom Care Community Support provides personalised, wheelchair-accessible transport for people who need additional support when travelling.
Based in Coffs Harbour on the NSW Mid North Coast, our particular focus is long-distance wheelchair-accessible transport, including journeys throughout the Mid North Coast and between Sydney, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Every journey is planned around the individual - their mobility, comfort, care needs and destination.
Wheelchair Accessibility & Support
Yes.
Our Kia Carnival has been professionally converted for wheelchair accessibility and long-distance comfort. It includes an easy rear-loading ramp and positions the wheelchair passenger forward within the vehicle so they can remain connected and involved with other passengers during the journey.
Before confirming a booking, we will ask about your wheelchair or mobility equipment to make sure the vehicle is suitable for your needs.
Where We Travel
Custom Care is based in Coffs Harbour on the NSW Mid North Coast.
We provide local and regional transport as well as long-distance journeys throughout NSW and into Queensland, with a particular focus on the corridor between Sydney, Newcastle, the Mid North Coast, Coffs Harbour, the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Medical, Hospital & Airport Travel
Yes.
Custom Care can assist with planned hospital discharge where a client needs wheelchair-accessible or supported transport home, to residential aged care, to family or to another agreed destination.
We can liaise with the client, family, hospital social worker, discharge planner or care coordinator to understand the client's transport requirements before the journey.
Custom Care is a non-emergency service, so clients must be medically appropriate for this type of transport at the time of discharge.
NDIS, Aged Care & Private Clients
Custom Care can support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, where the transport or associated support is appropriate to the participant's plan and funding.
Your individual NDIS funding arrangements determine what can be claimed, so participants and families should confirm that the service is appropriate for their plan.
We can provide the information and documentation required by your plan manager.
Bookings & Pricing
Booking is designed to be simple.
- Contact Custom Care - Tell us where you need to travel.
- We discuss your needs - Including wheelchair or mobility requirements, travel companions, care requirements, pickup and destination details.
- We prepare a clear quote - The proposed journey and service arrangements are outlined before you confirm.
- We coordinate the logistics - Once confirmed, we liaise with you and, where appropriate, your family, support coordinator, care manager or health service.
- We provide the journey - On the day, Custom Care provides the agreed door-to-door transport and support.
For longer or more complex journeys, additional planning may be undertaken before the booking is confirmed.
